OAKWOOD MINISTRY EVENT
Steps to schedule an Oakwood MINISTRY EVENT at the church building:
For Small Groups or Ministry Groups

Enter your event in "Groups" in the Church Center app (leaders should include building use events and non-building use events when scheduling any event).
- Once the event has been created, go to Calendar to find and edit your event. If you don't have permission to edit your event in "Calendar," contact the owner of the event as shown in Calendar or contact the Oakwood office. Other Ministry Events
- If you are not requesting an event on behalf of a ministry group, go to Calendar at https://calendar.planningcenteronline.com/events. Create a "New Event" by clicking the button in the upper right-hand corner. If you do not have permission to create an event in Calendar, please contact the Oakwood office at .
Note: If you are unable to schedule your event online, please send the dates, times, and room(s) you are interested in using ASAP to Ann Johnstonbaugh at This will enable us to tentatively reserve the space.
- After your event is scheduled, contact Linda Bonness at
if you need access to the building and do not have a key.
- Before your event, please review the Facility Use Policy and Checklist for Building Departure, so you know what is expected when you use our facility.

OAKWOOD NON-MINISTRY EVENT
Steps to schedule a NON-MINISTRY EVENT at the church building (even if you are a member):
- Send the dates, times, and room(s) you are interested in using ASAP to Ann Johnstonbaugh at
. This will enable us to tentatively reserve the space during the approval process.
- Complete ONE of the following Facility Use Application forms:
- Fillable Facility Use Application* (can be completed digitally)
- Printable Facility Use Application* (to be completed with pen and paper)
*Note: When completing these forms, please answer and complete any questions that pertain to your event or group (there may be some that do not and you may skip those).
3. Complete an Indemnification Agreement.
4. Send the completed Facility Use Application AND Indemnification Agreement forms along with a deposit check to Ann Johnstonbaugh at . You can also drop off or mail the forms to the church office at 1865 Waddle Rd. State College, PA 16803.*
*The Deacons will discuss your request at their next meeting and will let you know if it has been approved. The Deacons meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. You will be notified once your event is scheduled.
